Double Bay puts on the charm this Saturday 18 October for the first Transvaal Avenue Fair
Day. Taking place among the street's swanky boutiques and cafes, this will not be your your average cotton candy carnival – it promises culture, fine food and classic cars.
The whole family will find
something to amuse them and even the dog can be the
centre of attention at the Dogs in the City parade. Car lovers can check out a line-up of luxury vehicles
from the regal Rolls to fab Ferraris.
The rare wines and cheeses on
offer will taste even better with the sounds of Opera Australia singers
belting out Arias under the Trees. Let's not forget the
kids, who can clamour through the toys on offer at stores Rainbow Puppen and
Circus Bizircus while mum goes for that second cup of freshly brewed
double-shot espresso.
