Fifties Fair

The saying goes that everything old is new again, but you'll find at the 14th annual Historical House Trust's Fifties Fair, that everything old remains just as it always was.

An all-day celebration of music, fashions and fads, this fair is all about large skirts, 50s frocks, vintage cars and rock'n‘roll. Revel in fifties specialist stalls selling retro clothes, furniture and home wares.

Pick up plum retro records, toys and 50s-style treats before getting into the rock'n'roll spirit with hula-hoop and dance workshops, street theatre, live rockabilly bands and dance demonstrations.

The event is beind held at Rose Seidler House (built by architect Harry Seidler between 1948 and 1950), nestled in bushlands with panoramic views of Ku-ring-gai National Park.

The Fifties Fair is on Sun 24 Aug at Rose Seidler House.
