The Hills Are Alive: a tribute to the 2010 postcode

Time Out celebrates the 2010 postcode and Art Month Sydney with a very special photographic exhibition.

The Hills Are Alive: a tribute to the 2010 postcode

Time Out Sydney celebrated its March issue on Wednesday 10 March with a one-night-only exhibition called: “The Hill Are Alive: a tribute to the 2010 postcode.”

As part of Art Month Sydney 2010, the exhibition showcased the work of our chief photographer Daniel Boud and regular contributor Will Storr. All the photographs centred the people and places of the 2010 postcode.

Keeping things very much in the postcode, the show took place at Urban Uprising gallery on Crown Street and was attended by 300 people over the course of the evening.

Local pie shop Pie Face supplied mini pies with 2010 written on the top and guests drank Chandon Vintage brut and Peroni Leggera beer.

The photographs were printed by the Australian Centre for Photography and mounted by Hardware Gallery – and Time Out would like to thank both business for their support of this exhibition.

The exhibition has now moved nearby bar Café Lounge on Goulburn Street where it will be displayed until Thursday 18 March.

The limited edition prints are now available to buy, with a donation from each sale going towards Surry Hills charity Oasis Youth Support Network.

Prints for sale appear with a caption in the slideshow below.
