Where are you off to? I was heading off to buy a cane at the Tool Shed but I did a price check difference and Sax fetish had cheaper, better quality canes.

Uh-huh. Is it a crop or a cane? A cane; it's been varnished because the last few bamboo ones have broken.

Over-use, huh? Dare we ask what you're going to use it for? I use it as a rolling pin. My last cane snapped, it has good flexibility and hopefully it won't break.

So where do you live? I'm between places. Enough said.

I'm digging your great sloppy joe. It has a very wide neck - did you custom make that? It was a limited edition that Tristan Coumbe designed. He did a limited range for Grace Brothers and it had to be under-printed in white and then over-printed in fluorescent puff paints to give it a bit of texture.

How long have you had it for? About four years. I bought it in 2004 and it's one of my special pieces.

And how would you rank it in your street wear list? It would be in my top five this year for sure.

What about your badge? It's Kylie Minogue and it's from her 2004 Light Years Tour.

And are you wearing it with irony or are you a true fan? No, I'm a true fan alright. I've been there from the beginning with ‘Locomotion'. I have the picture discs, everything! When the rest of Australia was condemning Kylie as a "Singing Budgie", I was going to her concerts and buying her records. I've been to all her shows except Impossible Princess - I was a leather man in that phase, so it didn't go with my image.

What about the jeans? They are Italian - they are Romeo Gigli. I love them.

Sorry to get down to brass tacks here when you're baying for a flaying, Yiorgas. How much did you buy them for and when? I bought them in 1997 and they were about $100. There was an Italian clearance store in Redfern and I bought these and a pair of Gautier shorts for a few hundred dollars. Bargain, eh?

What are your plans for the afternoon? I'm going to use my cane.
