What's more fun: fashion or music? Music in the short term and fashion in the long term, for me anyway. If I were making amazing music that stays around for generations I would say music.

How did you get into DJing? My brother Beni and I started a party called "Dangerous Dan and Bumpin Beni B's Bargain Basement Booty Bar". We needed DJs to play house party jams and just ended up doing it ourselves.

What kind of music do you make? For that matter, what kind of clothes do you make? I make techno that's not techno and fashion that some might say is not fashion, just jeans. Who knows? I don't like being pigeonholed into genres. Let's just say I make stuff.

What are you planning for these [Thing]-a-Rama nights? Will the music change with the theme? Yeah, it will. Always changing. Always fun. Always serious. Always stupid. Always sexy. Always ugly. Always a-rama.

You play two sets every Friday at Ruby Rabbit. Isn't it boring being behind the decks all night? If I wasn't playing the second set I probably wouldn't end up staying very long. I feel really weird being in a nightclub when I don't have to DJ. I usually leave shortly after I finish or organise to play again later so I have a reason to stick around!

Vinyl, CD or computer?
Any of the above, I'm not racist. Although if all my music was on vinyl and I had someone to carry it around for me that would be my number one, no doubt.

Describe your perfect Sunday. Not having to DJ Saturday night and spending Sunday chilling with my boy Justice, going on some kind of adventure with him. Everything through his eyes is so innocent and fresh, it makes you feel the same way too. You start looking at things in a whole new light when you have a kid.

What record are you embarrassed to own and love? Nothing. I don't get embarrassed by things I love.
