Comedy in Glebe

If you are looking for a Comedy night, get yourselves down to Glebe. We tell you where to eat, drink and be merry. A whole night laid out for your pleasure!

Comedy in Glebe

The Main Event  Roxbury/Friend In Hand
Get your laugh on:
there’s comedic entertainment to be had in a couple of Glebe locales.  The Roxbury Hotel hosts comedy every Wednesday and the first Friday and Saturday of the month, while every Thursday the Friend in Hand holds its Mic In Hand open mic night, with eight fresh new performers and a quality headliner (generally a well-known high-profile comedian trying out some new material for an upcoming show).

Eat  Glebe Point Diner Feel like eating at the best restaurant in the inner west? Then head to the boho and family-friendly GPD for Sydney's finest in simple, locally-sourced produce and wine. You'll need to book ahead, but by God, it's worth it.

Drink   Friend In Hand You're at the Friend In Hand for comedy, right? Stay exactly where you are, goddammit. It rocks!

While you're there...  Gleebooks There are few better ways to kill a pleasant hour or four than by browsing Glee's bookshelves: either the flagship store or the secondhand/antiquarian store further down Glebe Point Rd.

Queen Street Stroll along the street and take in the freaky sculptures made from recycled materials by local artist Hilik Mirankar.
