6 of the best Sydney Coffee Carts
By Millie Stein

1 Mecca Espresso
Cnr George & Alfred Sts, Circular Quay
We challenge you to find another coffee cart with table service. With one established older sibling in King Street, this pint-sized espresso bar was born in 2007. For those who live outside the CBD, Mecca is worth the pilgrimage.
2 Campos coffee cart
Devonshire St Tunnel, Central Station
As far as trendy coffee roasters go, Campos is the name (and froth) on everyone's lips. The location may not be ambient, but we're told the baristas at this humble cart are well worth their sugar.
3 Coffee stand on Cremorne Point Wharf
Cremorne Point
There are limitations to drinking your coffee at a ferry stop. For one, you're at the ferry stop and surrounded by people waiting for public transport. But when everyone else has boarded the boat, sit on one of the newly vacated benches with a cup of hot stuff and sup it down while looking at one of the best views in town. Cremorning glory!
4 The Palms
Farrar Place, Sydney CBD
This one is a favourite with bike couriers and lawyers so expect speedy service and the strongest legal caffeine product in town. Make it a well-rounded brekkie with some delicious bircher muesli to accompany your Toby's Estate beans.
5 Toby's Estate coffee cart
Entertainment Quarter Fresh Produce Markets, (every Wed & Sat)
Delicious coffee sourced from the four corners of the globe, with the option of picking up some fresh flowers or locally farmed produce afterwards. Unfortunately this can only be a twice-weekly experience, but the rare nectar is always the sweetest.
6 Coffee cart Pyrmont Foot Bridge
(City end), Pyrmont
There's no record of its existence, but anyone who has strolled the length of the Pyrmont Foot Bridge will recall the little kiosk playing Latin music and serving some seriously good coffee. We're not imagining it, we swear.
