Gastronomia Pellagio goes public
From the man who brought you the insanely popular Italian restaurant A Tavola, comes a new Italian grocery right across the road from the restaurant, featuring Italian dry goods cured meats and coffee. Open 7am-9pm, seven days a week, chef Eugenio Maiale will also be selling his fresh pasta here.

Churrasco in the city
You read it here first, folks. Everybody's favourite Brazilian all-you-can-eat-meat-on-giant-metal-skewers restaurant is expanding. Owners Anthony Mitchell and Trent Demos say the price will stay the same as the Coogee store. It's $35pp for all you can eat meat with lunch on weekdays and dinner seven nights a week. They hope to be open by September.

Chui Lee Luk - head chef of Claude's restaurant -  is collaborating with friend and food historian Tony Tan on a menu "exploring the range of their most evocative childhood experiences. The menu twists and turns through the diversity of cuisines in Malaysia where each spent at least part of their childhood."
