Imagine all your favourite celebrities in one room patting themselves on the back. Now imagine all of your favourite celebrity’s siblings in one room patting themselves on the back and you’re almost there.
Who’s up for gongs? In order to decide who wins Favourite Overseas Personality, vinegar-powered anger-bot Gordon Ramsey will be poured into the caustic wit of the Mythbusters and shaken until they both explode. Antonia Kidman is up for two awards: Most Outstanding Lifestyle Program and also for Favourite Female Personality while Discovery Channel is up for eight awards including Best Lifestyle show for Five Star Insider hosted and written by Time Out’s editor-in-chief, Angus Fontaine.
Who works out who gets the frostie glass-wedge?
The five ‘Favourite Personality’ awards are awarded like an election for school captain where the most popular kid wins (even though he clearly has no policies or experience). But most of the awards are chosen by a select panel of elite industry-wise men after they consult the runes floating in the blood of all three Daddo brothers.
