Establishment Bar
The success of this imposing CBD bar is fueled by a 42-metre-long marble bar, extended opening hours, a big bar selection and location, location, location. They say it’s a tough market out there for single women, but you’d never know it with all the winking and batting eyelids and fl irting going on around here. Suffi ce to say if you work in the city and feel like some playtime after the bell rings, this is where you go.
Be warned: the later in the evening it gets, the more of a posh-mosh-pit Establishment becomes. Luckily, you’ll fi nd an extensive bar menu split into Australian and Thai food and boasting anything from Angus steak to Thai chicken salad. And with nothing over $16, you don’t have to be a Gordon Gekko wannabe to eat in the artfully exposed back hall. The bar has a popular selection of cocktails (Caprioskas, Mojitos and such), otherwise there’s a comprehensive selection of beers, wine and spirits on offer.
