A sparkling star on the performance scene, Oxford Art Factory has hosted a cavalcade of up-andcomers and already-got-there superstars. But this bar goes beyond booze and tunes. Regular art markets feature on weekends and murals by art luminaries like Ben Frost grace the canvaspacked walls.
Performance space and gig venue it may be, but beyond the glass excellent drinks abound. Most people come for the beer and the shooters, but you can also get simple cocktails here, thanks to a quality booze collection with an excellent range of rums. The space has been designed so you can drink in the bar oblivious to the gig next door (the glass is soundproof), so no Cassette Kids or E.L.F for you, if you’re here just for the likka, comfy couches or Scalextric.
