Allpress Espresso

You enter the belly of the beast at Allpress. All the heavy artillery -- roasters, grinders, packers - is out back, yet all of it is visible from the sleek cafe frontage on Epsom Road. Service is brusque, but it can afford to be when the coffee blends and gourmet bread are this good and people queue into the street from dusk till dawn. Italian-style sandwiches and panini fly out the door as fast as the coffee and there's constant hustle on the banquettes and booths inside.
